Roxana Maria Aras (MA, CEU 2015; currently PhD student in the Anthro-History Department at the University of Michigan).

For me, the History program at Central European University was a fertile environment for creative and critical thinking. Here I was guided by professors who offered me the theoretical and empirical instruments necessary for well-grounded historical research. I was also  a member of the Religious Studies Specialization, which allowed me to develop my study on religion(s) from an interdisciplinary perspective. This great scholarly environment was complemented by the multicultural atmosphere at CEU and the urban beauty of Budapest.
